Our research combines the quantum aspects of light with intriguing classical properties related to among other: the orbital angular momentum of photons, spatial- and polarization entanglement between photon pairs, sub-wavelength metal optics, photonic crystals. Other research topics are cavity quantum-electrodynamics and macroscopic quantum entanglement. Although the emphasis is on experiments, theory always plays an important role in our experiments.
